Homeland Organic has geared up production and is now producing roasted coffee along with hot and iced coffee drinks for the Owings Mills Farmer's market on Sunday mornings. Please note that while we roast coffee near Baltimore, we are not affiliated with any other coffee or tea company that roasts coffee in or near Baltimore. We are pursuing an individual and independant American dream.
You can count on your hand and toes the number of coffee companies in the United States that are 100% Fair Trade Organic. The two largest coffee companies in the country sell less than 5% of their total sales as FTO. We know that the socially conscious among us will help us do much better than that. It is our pledge that we will never knowingly sell any coffee product that is not fairly traded or organically grown. We make an effort to obtain documented proof of the producers' certification.
We have learned that the many, many people are responding to our Socially Conscious approach to making a market in coffee products which have a positive impact on our health and the balanced spread of coffee profit.
